Burning Man has unveiled a new tiered ticketing system for its 2025 festival, with prices ranging from $550 to $3,000. The first buyers will have access to the most affordable tickets, while higher-priced options will help fund essential festival operations and art grants.
New Ticket Pricing and Availability
Tickets for the iconic Nevada-based festival go on sale Wednesday, February 12. Attendees can choose from six pricing tiers: $550, $650, $750, $950, $1,500, and $3,000—sold on a first-come, first-served basis. Additionally, the “Ticket Aid” program offers limited $225 passes for low-income applicants.
Why the Change?
The updated ticketing structure comes after Burning Man faced a $5.7 million financial shortfall in 2024, largely due to unsold higher-priced tickets. Last year marked the first time in a decade that the festival didn’t sell out, prompting organizers to seek $20 million in donations to sustain future events.
Supporting Black Rock City
Revenue from higher-tier tickets will contribute to “Ticket Aid” passes, Honoraria art grants, and critical infrastructure costs for Black Rock City. Organizers aim to maintain the festival’s commitment to accessibility while securing financial stability.
How to Get Tickets
Registration for Burning Man 2025 tickets is open until 12:00 PM (Pacific Time) on February 11. To sign up and purchase tickets, visit the festival’s official website.
