Deep Tropics Festival Returns to Nashville in 2025 With Chris Lake, Alison Wonderland, and a Powerful Eco Mission

Deep Tropics, dubbed “The Greenest Festival in North America,” is set to return to Nashville’s Bicentennial Park on August 15–16, 2025. With a lineup stacked with top-tier electronic artists like Chris Lake, Alison Wonderland, Subtronics, and Liquid Stranger, this year’s event promises a vibrant mix of music, sustainability, and community impact.

A Neon Jungle in the Heart of Music City

The festival will transform downtown Nashville into a tropical oasis with four unique, artfully designed stages. Past editions have been celebrated for their immersive aesthetics and energetic crowd, but Deep Tropics sets itself apart by putting sustainability at the center of its mission.

In 2024, the festival diverted 87% of waste from landfills, a remarkable feat in the event space. Organizers also offset their entire carbon footprint through reforestation efforts, making Deep Tropics a true pioneer in environmentally responsible festival culture.

Eco-Conscious From Start to Finish

According to the founders, Deep Tropics’ sustainability success is built on meticulous sourcing and a commitment to eliminating single-use plastics. Even difficult-to-recycle items like microplastics and cigarette butts are collected and processed, showing how even large-scale festivals can reduce their impact.

The commitment goes beyond cleanup. The festival hosts a Sustainability Summit each year, and the 2025 edition is scheduled for August 14th at Studio 615. The summit will unite artists, environmental leaders, and change-makers for a day of regenerative talks, live music, and locally sourced food.

Highlights include a presentation from activist-musician Madame Gandhi, who turns climate data and environmental sounds into transformative art, and a keynote from Tony Cho, a global voice in regenerative development.

Beyond Music: Culture, Wellness, and Community

Deep Tropics also features curated experiences like the Deep Culture Speakeasy, interactive art installations, wellness programs, and a fashion-forward showcase celebrating eco-conscious creativity.

“Each year, we push the boundaries of what a music festival can be—not just in terms of the lineup, but in the experience we create and the impact we leave behind,” said Blake Atchison, the festival’s Co-Founder. “Every element is designed to inspire, energize, and cultivate a community that cares about each other and the future.”

Get ready for an unforgettable weekend in Music City, where music, sustainability, and culture collide in the most electrifying way possible.
