Wichita’s community-driven music festival returns June 13–14 with top talent, free shows, and a mission to make a difference.
Somewhere Festival 2025 is back in downtown Wichita this June 13–14, redefining what a music festival can be. Formerly known as Elsewhere, this not-for-profit event blends music, art, and advocacy to build a more inclusive and impactful cultural experience.
Powered by Movement Musick and partners like Midtopia, the festival invests in underrepresented artists and community programs focused on mental health, addiction recovery, and education access.
Music with Meaning
This year’s lineup features Deadmau5, Suki Waterhouse, Flying Lotus, and BigXthaPlug—but it’s more than just star power. The diverse roster also includes artists like Kim Gordon, Cassian, and Aloe Blacc with 2ŁØT, offering music fans a fresh, boundary-pushing experience.
Art, Action, and Accessibility
What truly sets Somewhere Festival apart is its social mission. Interactive zones and activations allow festivalgoers to engage with local organizations and earn exclusive merchandise by taking real-world action. It’s music with purpose—using creativity to drive change.
The Somewhere Conference, part of the weekend, features panels on artistry, career growth, and activism. Highlights include a fireside chat with Aloe Blacc and workshops led by Rudy Love Jr.
Built for Everyone
With free concert stages, affordable ticket options, and a strong focus on inclusion, Somewhere Festival 2025 is designed to be accessible to all. Expect immersive art, live murals, and local food experiences—from blind taste tests to hands-on workshops curated with Harvester Arts.
Somewhere Festival isn’t just a show—it’s a movement. And Wichita is at the center of it.
