A powerful new chapter in electronic music history has arrived. Afrojack, Martin Garrix, David Guetta, and rising talent Amél have joined forces for the high-impact single “Our Time,” now available on Spinnin’ Records.
What happens when three of dance music’s biggest pioneers come together with one of the scene’s most exciting new producers? The answer is “Our Time”—a festival-ready anthem that symbolizes unity across generations of electronic music.
For Afrojack, Martin Garrix, and David Guetta, this marks their first official release together, despite their intertwined careers and years of collaborations behind the scenes. With Amél stepping in as the next-generation sound architect, the record becomes more than a collab—it becomes a statement.
A Cross-Generational EDM Power Move
The track first sparked global attention during AMF at Amsterdam Dance Event, where Afrojack and Garrix premiered an early version in front of a sold-out crowd. Soon after, all four artists took the stage at Ushuaïa Ibiza during Guetta’s F**k Me I’m Famous residency, electrifying fans with a live preview of their chemistry.
“Even though we’re all in different parts of the world and our schedules are crazy, we made it work,” Guetta says. “We kept fine-tuning it, even while onstage. That’s how passionate we were about the details.”
Afrojack calls it a full-circle moment, connecting artists who defined the global EDM boom with those shaping its future.
“This track is our shared story. It represents where we started, where we are now, and everything we’ve built. It’s our time,” he says.
Amél Steps Into the Spotlight
At the heart of “Our Time” is Amél, a rising producer who handled key elements of the track’s production. His influence can be felt in the record’s fresh arrangement, which nods to the golden era of EDM while pushing it into modern territory.
“Just a few years ago, working with any of these legends felt impossible,” Amél reflects. “Being here now—it’s surreal and inspiring. I’m proud of the sound we created together.”
“Our Time” Sound Design: Past Meets Future
The track features crisp percussion, euphoric melodies, and a powerful synth-driven drop—a nostalgic yet forward-facing sound that reflects each artist’s signature style. The result is a polished, emotionally charged anthem designed for festival mainstages and global playlists alike.
“I love how the track evolved from the demo to the final version,” adds Garrix. “It’s a great example of collaboration done right.”
