Rezz and Seven Lions Exit Wasserman Music Following Epstein Files Revelations

Canadian DJ and producer Rezz and American DJ and producer Seven Lions have officially announced they are parting ways with Wasserman Music in the wake of revelations from the Jeffrey Epstein files. The departures highlight the growing mass exodus of artists distancing themselves from Casey Wasserman and his talent agency.

Artists Take a Stand

Rezz shared a statement on her Instagram, saying: “I have no intention of staying at a company owned by Casey Wasserman. My team has been working to figure this out. Thanks for your patience.” The message reflects her firm stance against remaining associated with an organization tied to Epstein and his associates.

Seven Lions echoed this sentiment on his own social media channels, adding: “I have no intention of staying at Wasserman under the current name and ownership of Casey Wasserman. At the same time, I need to give my team the space to navigate a really difficult situation that none of us asked for. None of the agents and people I work with are responsible for what’s happening, and it’s genuinely painful to see them put in this position.”

Both artists join a growing list of musicians taking a clear stance against Wasserman, reinforcing the industry-wide call for accountability in light of the Epstein-related revelations.

Wasserman Music Puts Agency Up for Sale

In response to mounting pressure from artists and public scrutiny, Casey Wasserman has confirmed that Wasserman Music is now up for sale. The move comes after public backlash over his direct contact with Ghislaine Maxwell, a convicted associate of Jeffrey Epstein. The agency has also removed its Artist Roster from its official website, further signaling the ongoing departures.

Industry insiders note that this collective action by artists underscores the influence musicians hold in demanding ethical responsibility from the organizations they work with. The decisions by Rezz, Seven Lions, and others reflect a unified effort to distance themselves from any association with Epstein and his network.

Artist Solidarity in the Wake of Controversy

The departures highlight a rare moment of solidarity within the electronic music community. Artists are navigating the delicate balance between professional partnerships and ethical responsibility, making their voices heard through decisive action.

Fans and followers are encouraged to engage respectfully with the ongoing developments. The situation remains fluid, with more updates expected as Wasserman’s sale process unfolds and additional artists make public decisions regarding their affiliations.
