Electronic music producer Getter has officially signed with United Talent Agency (UTA), hinting at a powerful return to the dance music scene.
After a multi-year hiatus from electronic music, Getter, also known as Tanner Petulla, is staging a major comeback. The renowned DJ and producer has partnered with United Talent Agency (UTA), a move that signals not only new music but also forthcoming tour dates.
A Long-Awaited Comeback
Getter’s last original electronic release was 2021’s Some Creature EP. Since then, fans have eagerly awaited his return to the genre that catapulted him to stardom. That wait appears to be over.
Last week, Getter dropped an official remix of Mike Posner’s debut hit single, “Cooler Than Me”, marking his first major electronic music release in years. The remix has reignited excitement among fans and industry insiders alike.
Tour Dates on the Horizon
According to his agent Ben Hogan, the signing with UTA comes with big plans. “He’s back, and we are coming to your city very soon,” Hogan wrote on Instagram.
UTA’s representation offers Getter the strategic support and network needed for a high-impact return. The agency represents an impressive roster of electronic music icons including ILLENIUM, Kaskade, Nero, Robyn, ZHU, and James Blake.
Getter Hasn’t Slowed Down
While absent from the EDM scene, Getter stayed active under his hip-hop alter ego Terror Reid. He released Manifesto, the third Terror Reid album, in September 2024, maintaining his creative momentum.
In addition, Petulla has grown his online presence through his YouTube channel, where he regularly shares music production tips, behind-the-scenes stories, and comedic content, keeping his fanbase engaged throughout his hiatus.
