Italy is about to witness the birth of a new electronic music festival that’s setting its sights high – literally. The Adriatic Sound Festival is debuting in June 2025 at Fano Airport, a former Roman temple site, promising an immersive experience like no other. This two-day event is being billed as a “temporary city” that seamlessly blends ancient history with cutting-edge music and art.
A Groundbreaking Venue
Fano Airport, also known as Fanum Fortunae, has been transformed into a unique festival grounds, featuring two main stages: the Temple Stage and the Infinity Stage. The Temple Stage is an architectural marvel, designed by STUFISH Entertainment Architects, who have worked with international superstars like the Rolling Stones, Adele, and Sabrina Carpenter.
The Temple Stage boasts a rotating 360° central platform where DJs perform inside a massive drum structure, surrounded by four grandstands arranged in a coliseum-style layout. A luminous halo structure above will react with the music to create a multi-sensory experience that will leave attendees in awe.
Inspired by History and Futurism
The Infinity Stage takes inspiration from Fano’s 2,000-year-old Arch of Augustus, a historic gateway built around 27 BC. STUFISH has reimagined this ancient architectural form through a bold, futuristic lens, creating a truly one-of-a-kind stage design.
Pioneering Lineup
The inaugural Adriatic Sound Festival lineup features world-renowned DJs Sven Väth and Armand Van Helden, with more acts to be announced in the coming weeks.
