Swedish House Mafia will return to Gothenburg’s Ullevi Stadium next summer for four exclusive live performances, choosing a hometown residency over a wider European tour.
The Swedish EDM trio, made up of Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso, will perform on 2, 3, 9 and 10 July 2027. The shows will be the group’s only European live appearances of the year.
Four Nights at Ullevi
The announcement follows Swedish House Mafia’s major Ullevi performance on 29 August 2026, which the group described as its biggest concert ever on Swedish soil.
Rather than taking the production to arenas, festivals and stadiums across Europe, the trio is building its 2027 live plans entirely around Gothenburg.
The confirmed dates are:
- 2 July 2027: Ullevi Stadium, Gothenburg
- 3 July 2027: Ullevi Stadium, Gothenburg
- 9 July 2027: Ullevi Stadium, Gothenburg
- 10 July 2027: Ullevi Stadium, Gothenburg
The production is being designed specifically for Ullevi, with the stadium set to become the central home of Swedish House Mafia’s next live chapter.
No Wider European Tour in 2027
Fans hoping to catch Swedish House Mafia elsewhere in Europe will need to travel to Sweden.
The group has confirmed that there will be no additional European arena shows, stadium performances or festival appearances in 2027. The four Gothenburg concerts will be the trio’s only European live dates.
The city will also host pop-up experiences, fan zones and merchandise shops around the performances, turning Gothenburg into a temporary gathering point for the group’s international fanbase.
“Standing in the heart of Gothenburg, we felt something,” Swedish House Mafia said in a statement. “The scale, the energy, the connection. The pride of standing together on Swedish soil, with music that travelled from our home to every corner of the world, and hearing it come home through the voices of the crowd.”
A Second Chance for Fans Affected by the Cancellation
The 2027 shows will also offer a new opportunity to fans who were affected by a cancelled concert during the group’s 2026 Ullevi run.
Swedish House Mafia’s scheduled performance on 28 August 2026 was cancelled because of severe weather. Ticket holders from that event were granted early access to the 2027 shows through a personal presale code.
The general ticket sale is scheduled for 19 September 2026, while several presales have already taken place or are being offered through artist registration, Mastercard, Strawberry and Spotify.
Swedish House Mafia’s Hometown Chapter
The decision to remain in Gothenburg carries clear significance for the trio, whose story began in Sweden before expanding into a global electronic music phenomenon.
The group has framed the upcoming shows as a celebration of its roots and the journey its music has taken around the world. The 2027 production will be created specifically for Ullevi, with the venue’s scale and atmosphere forming a central part of the experience.
For four nights in July, Gothenburg will become the meeting point for Swedish House Mafia fans from across Europe and beyond.
Swedish House Mafia will play Ullevi Stadium on 2, 3, 9 and 10 July 2027. These will be the group’s only European live shows next year.
