Daft Punk Celebrate 20 Years of Human After All with First-Ever Remix Vinyl Release

Daft Punk are back in the spotlight—this time with a collector’s dream.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of their groundbreaking third album Human After All, the legendary French duo is giving fans something truly special: the first-ever vinyl release of Human After All Remixes.

Originally available only on CD in Japan back in 2006, this remix collection brought together some of the most exciting names in electronic music. Artists like Justice, Soulwax, SebastiAn, Erol Alkan, and Peaches transformed Daft Punk’s industrial and robotic sound into vibrant, experimental club anthems.

A Bold Era in Daft Punk’s Evolution

Released in March 2005, Human After All stood apart from Daft Punk’s earlier work, embracing a stripped-down and mechanical aesthetic that divided critics but fascinated fans. The album’s raw minimalism became the foundation for what would later shape their legendary live shows, including Alive 2007.

Just a year later, Daft Punk curated a Japan-exclusive remix album that reimagined their sonic world through the lens of their peers. Each track offered a new dimension—deconstructing, rebuilding, and amplifying the duo’s robotic edge with an explosion of club-ready energy.

The Vinyl Fans Have Been Waiting For

The remix collection received an expanded edition in 2014, adding fresh contributions from Basement Jaxx and The Juan Maclean, along with a global streaming release.

Now, for the first time ever, all the remixes are coming together in a beautifully crafted limited 2xLP gatefold vinyl, landing on November 8.

Collectors and long-time fans can pre-order the record now, finally bringing home a piece of Daft Punk history that has lived in digital and CD form for nearly two decades.

The Legacy Lives On

This release isn’t just a nostalgia trip—it’s a celebration of Daft Punk’s lasting influence on modern electronic music. From the underground clubs of Paris to the biggest stages in the world, Human After All continues to inspire a generation of producers and fans alike.

As the duo’s iconic helmets rest, their music continues to evolve—human after all.
