Bakh on “Kyra,” Afro House Vibes, and Building Emotional Soundscapes

Bakh

From classical piano lessons in Lebanon to global collaborations with labels like Cafe De Anatolia, Bakh is redefining what it means to make meaningful electronic music. His latest release, “Kyra,” isn’t just a track—it’s a story.

Blending deep emotion with rhythmic elegance, Lebanese-born producer Bakh is quickly becoming a name to watch in the world of electronic music. With a foundation built on over a decade of classical piano training and a creative spirit that refuses to be boxed into one genre, Bakh has cultivated a style that speaks directly to the soul.

A Classical Soul with a Modern Pulse

“My love for music started young,” Bakh explains. “I spent 12 years studying piano and immersed myself in classical music. It gave me structure—but also opened up a space for emotional storytelling. That stayed with me when I discovered electronic genres like techno, melodic house, and Afro house.”

Unlike many producers who stick to one signature sound, Bakh moves fluidly between styles—Indie Dance, Tech House, Deep House, and Afro rhythms. “It all depends on my mood and energy,” he says. “But one thing that’s always there is the piano. It’s part of me.”

The Story Behind “Kyra”

His latest single, Kyra, released on May 2nd, 2025, is a shining example of his emotional approach to music. The track is named after a five-year-old girl who sent him a touching message on Instagram.

“She asked if I could make a song that would help her fall asleep and dream of the sea,” Bakh recalls. “It was one of the most beautiful requests I’ve ever received.”

The result is a warm, Afro House-inspired journey that feels like a lullaby made for summer nights. “I leaned into softer rhythms and layered gentle melodies. It’s upbeat but calming—like a dream you want to stay in.”

What makes Kyra especially unique is the collaboration process. Bakh didn’t just dedicate the track to the child—he involved her. “I’d send her snippets, and she’d tell me which ones made her smile. Her joy shaped the music.”

A Rising Star Backed by Global Labels

Bakh’s collaboration with Cafe De Anatolia has helped propel his music to a wider global audience. “Their support has been incredible,” he shares. “They believe in emotional, story-driven music, and that aligns perfectly with my vision.”

He acknowledges that the electronic music scene is fast-paced and trend-driven—something that can be overwhelming for new artists. “It’s easy to feel pressure to sound a certain way,” he says. “But I think the real power is in authenticity. Music should reflect what you truly feel.”

What’s Next for Bakh?

Far from slowing down, Bakh has 12 new tracks ready for release and is currently building a live performance setup that incorporates his piano background into an immersive show. “I want to offer something more than a DJ set—something deeply human.”

His advice to emerging artists? “Escape the noise. Trends come and go, but the feeling behind the music—that’s timeless.”
